UGC NET Exam Dates 2018

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct UGC NET examination in the month of December this year. Earlier, University Grant Commission used to conduct the examination but this year the responsibility has been bestowed upon the NTA. NTA invited for the application from all the eligible candidate. The application process was held from 1st September 2018 to 30th September 2018.

Exam Dates NET Examination 2018

NTA is conducting the UGC Net examination from 9th December 2018 to 23rd December 2018. The candidates will be able to download the Admit card from 19th November 2018. The UGC NET exam Date 2018 will be finalized later by November 2018 as in shifts and centers of the examination. Candidates will be able to know the examination centers and timings along with the shifts they are going to appear prior to the release of the Admit Card.

About the Exam

The UGC NET examination is conducted for the candidates who have cleared their Masters Degree and aspire for PhD or for a post of Assistant Professor. The examination is conducted in the whole country with various subjects to choose from. The candidate appearing in the UGC NET must choose the subject of the post graduate degree. The examination is being conducted online. The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in 2 shifts. The morning Shift and the afternoon shift. The candidates appearing in the examination must follow the rules laid by NTA and be present in the examination hall at the reporting time with all the necessary documents.
